Where: Gina’s Wellness Studio (7790 Byron Holley Road, Byron)

What: First… we will enjoy a tasty lunch (provided by The Lathans). During lunch, we will go around the room and share one of our favorite scriptures, perhaps why it is special to us.

Next… we’ll get our creativity flowing! We will write out our own scripture, on cardstock, to create a stack of cards of our favorite scripture.

After that… We’ll decorate the cards with stamps, markers, and colored pencils

At the end we will exchange our favorite scripture cards with each other, to create a deck of all different scriptures!

Finally…. we will receive a pretty box to keep them in, and enjoy learning new verses that will remind us of our wonderful church family too! All supplies are provided unless you would like to bring your own markers, pencils, stamps, stickers, etc

Heart of God

Heart of God – hosted by Tom & Lori Parmenter / Francis Chan

6-week video-based, interactive group

Thursday Evenings @ 7:00 p.m., Sept. 28 through Nov. 2 at the Hope Center of LeRoy, 42 Main St., Le Roy

What thoughts come to mind when you think of God? Do you wonder what He’s like, what He thinks about you, or what He wants for you? The good news is that we don’t have to go far to find answers. God tells us all we need to know about who He is and what He’s like — about His heart — and why that matters for our lives. Join Tom and Lori on a journey of discovery to the heart of God as we learn to know God better and love Him more.

The Book of Titus

The Book of Titus – hosted by Henry Moore and Gary Gavenda / Chip Ingram

7-week video-based, interactive group

Wednesday Evenings @ 6:30 p.m., Sept. 20 through Nov. 8 in the LWC Youth Room

In this Book of the Bible series, Chip Ingram unpacks the book of Titus. He challenges us to display the gospel in our lives through doing good. We do good works not to earn God’s favor but as a result of God’s favor. When the gospel has truly taken root in our lives, it produces the fruit of godliness. As we pass these things on to future generations, the Church stands in bright contrast to the darkness of the world. Join Henry and Gary as we explore how the Gospel works in our lives!
